The best spots on the sand in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The UAE holds an abundance of beautiful sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters and calm tides. Comparing the beach here in Abu Dhabi with others I have visited around the world I would say Abu Dhabi has some of the worlds best. They are clean, well looked after and are managed mostly by private firms looking to maintain and improve quality.
The water temperatures remain warm all year round, and in the heights of the summers can each up to 25ºC making the ocean feel rather more like a hot tub.
The most visited beaches in Abu Dhabi are the Corniche Beach, Saadiyat beach and Yas Beach, these three receive the majority of visitors with the Corniche coming at #1.
In my opinion Saadiyat beach would be the best due to its close proximity to my University, New York University (8MinuteDrive). Also its usually quiet with few visitors in comparison to the Corniche. With a small entry fee of £25 (£5) you can access this private beach in very close proximity to the 5star hotel at Park Hyatt and St Regis Resort.
